Direct answer: based on the prices Dominican agencies publish on their own websites, monthly SEO in the DR runs from about RD$8,000 a month for basic local SEO to RD$150,000 or more a month for national, tourism or e-commerce campaigns. Basic plans published by five agencies range from RD$8,000 to RD$45,000 a month, and a one-time audit costs RD$15,000 to RD$80,000. For comparison, the most common SEO retainer worldwide in Ahrefs’ survey is US$501–1,000 a month. Always ask whether the price includes the 18% ITBIS.

On October 19, 2026 we reviewed the pages where Dominican agencies publish SEO prices. These are the figures as printed. They are list prices or reference ranges, not quotes; every agency adjusts to the project.

The Dualsym, TAKUM, Brandlytic and The Agenzzy ranges come from pricing guides those agencies publish on their own blogs: each agency’s view of the market, not independent research. None of these pages says whether ITBIS is included. Pages are in Spanish except The Agenzzy, which also publishes in English.
How that compares internationally
The most-cited international benchmark is Ahrefs’ survey of 439 SEO providers, where the most common monthly retainer is US$501 to US$1,000 a month (Ahrefs, SEO Pricing). The basic and mid-level plans Dominican agencies publish generally sit below that band, while advanced tourism and e-commerce plans approach or pass it. To convert pesos to dollars, use the day’s rate from the Banco Central de la República Dominicana.
What moves the price
- Geography. Showing up in Google’s map results for one neighborhood or city costs less than competing for national searches.
- Industry competition. Tourism, real estate, health and finance have more strong competitors, which is where the advanced plans concentrate.
- Languages. A hotel, tour operator or real-estate business selling to foreigners needs Spanish and English pages, which doubles much of the content work.
- Content volume. Several published plans differ mainly in how many new articles or pages they include each month.
- Technical state of the site. A slow or badly structured site needs an audit and technical fixes before content pays off.
- Links and PR. Earning real mentions in local media and directories is manual work and usually sits in the higher plans.
ITBIS (sales tax on services)
The DGII sets ITBIS on services at 18% (DGII, ITBIS). If an agency invoices in the Dominican Republic, confirm whether the price you see already includes it: on a RD$25,000 plan the difference is RD$4,500 a month.
How to compare quotes
- Get the deliverables in writing. Which pages get optimized, how many pieces of content, what happens to your Google Business Profile, and how often you get a report.
- Ask who owns what. Your domain, website, Business Profile and Google accounts should be in your name.
- Check the commitment. SEO takes months to show results, but a long contract with no exit is a warning sign.
- Be wary of guarantees. Google is blunt: “No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google” (Google Search Central). A serious agency explains what it will do and how you will measure it.
- Compare like with like. A RD$15,000 plan with four articles is not the same product as a RD$45,000 plan with technical work and link building.
What do we charge?
We do not publish a fixed rate on this site. Every quote starts with a free audit of your website and Google Business Profile, and the price depends on what we find and where you want to show up. We do not guarantee rankings; we do put in writing what we will do and how we will measure it.
